EVOWOW Terms of Use
These Terms govern the EVOWOW website, game server, and related services. By creating an account or using EVOWOW, you confirm that you accept these Terms and the Server Rules.
1. About EVOWOW
EVOWOW is an independent community and educational project operated from Bulgaria that recreates gameplay from an older version of World of Warcraft. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or operated by Blizzard Entertainment. Related trademarks, artwork, and game content belong to their respective rights holders.
Each user is responsible for possessing a lawfully obtained compatible game client and complying with its applicable licence and EULA.
2. Age Requirements
- You must be at least 14 years old to register independently.
- Users under 14 must not create an account independently.
- Real-money payments are restricted to an adult payer who is at least 18 years old and authorized to use the payment method.
3. Accounts
- Keep your credentials secure and never share your password.
- You are responsible for account activity unless compromise without your fault can reasonably be established.
- Accounts may not be sold, transferred, or traded in violation of the Rules.
4. Free Access and Optional Support
Registration and normal participation do not require payment. Financial support is optional and helps cover infrastructure, maintenance, and development. A confirmed payment may credit Donate Points to the named beneficiary account. Voting Points are earned through voting and are not bought with real money.
5. Virtual Points
- Donate Points and Voting Points are not money, electronic money, cryptocurrency, or a payment instrument.
- Points cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Points have no independent cash value except where a refund is required by law or these Terms.
- Future catalog availability and prices may change; correctly completed past transactions are not changed retroactively.
6. Payments and Delivery
PayPal and SMS services process payments externally. EVOWOW does not store card or bank-account details. EVOWOW currently offers SMS payments only through Bulgarian mobile services and accepts only Bulgarian mobile numbers. This is an EVOWOW service limitation, not a statement about every country supported by the SMS provider. SMS billing is charged to the telephone subscription that sent the message; the username in the message identifies only the beneficiary EVOWOW account and does not prove that the player owns the telephone or made the payment.
After confirmation, Donate Points are normally credited automatically. Items and services may be automatic or require operational review. Report missing delivery through Feedback.
7. Withdrawal, Refunds, and Errors
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights. Applicable withdrawal and refund treatment depends on the payment and fulfillment status. Completed in-game fulfillment is not automatically refundable merely because the user changes their mind. Rights concerning non-delivery, defective delivery, or lack of conformity remain unaffected.
PayPal refunds, where applicable, are investigated against the provider transaction and returned through an approved channel. The SMS provider does not support refunds; disputes concerning an SMS charge must follow its billing and support process. This does not remove mandatory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Enforcement
EVOWOW may restrict access for Rules violations. Permanent termination is reserved for serious or repeated violations. Appeals may be submitted through Feedback.
9. Availability and Recovery
EVOWOW cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Recovery from a backup may cause loss of recent game progress. External payment records may be used to investigate confirmed payments affected by an incident.
10. Personal Data
EVOWOW processes account, authentication, network, game, support, security, and transaction information as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and Governing Law
Material changes will be announced and apply prospectively from their effective date. These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law without limiting mandatory EU or consumer rights in the user’s country of residence.
