The EVOWOW Referral System is more than a simple invitation system. It creates a relationship between a Teacher and a Student, helps new players progress, and rewards both sides when specific goals are reached.
Using the system is optional. A person who receives an invitation is not required to accept it.
How does the system work?
- Every newly registered user starts with Student status, whether or not they were invited.
- A Student has access to Leveling rewards at every 10th level.
- After completing the Graduation requirements, a Student can become a Teacher.
- A Teacher can send invitations and can have up to 5 active Students at the same time.
- As an invited Student progresses, the Student and Teacher receive separate milestone rewards.
- When the Student completes all requirements and Graduates, the Student becomes a Teacher and their original Teacher receives a Diploma and an additional reward.
- After Graduation, the Student's slot is released back to the original Teacher for a new invitation.
Student status
Every new EVOWOW account receives Student status. This applies both to normal registrations and registrations created through a referral invitation.
Every EVOWOW account must use a valid, verified e-mail address. An account that has not completed e-mail verification cannot be used normally for gameplay.
A Student cannot send invitations yet. To unlock that ability, the Student must complete the Teacher requirements and Graduate.
Leveling rewards
At every 10th level, a Student can claim a Pandora's Box reward.
Pandora's Box is the general name used for rewards associated with the Referral System. Student and Teacher boxes are different, and their contents change according to the milestone reached.
The Level 10, 20, 30 and subsequent Leveling Pandora's Boxes are not one identical box with a different number. Each milestone has its own Student reward type and a separate Teacher reward type.
Possible rewards include Gold, leveling items, consumables, potions, armor, weapons, tokens, and other useful in-game items. Some contents are guaranteed, while others may be determined randomly.
Each applicable Leveling reward can be received only once and by only one character on the account.
A Student can receive Leveling rewards even without a Teacher. If the account is linked to a Teacher, the Teacher also receives their separate reward for that milestone.
The Teacher reward is triggered when the Student claims their own reward. This is part of how the system works; the reward is not automatically issued the moment the Student reaches the level.
How does a Student become a Teacher?
To Graduate as a Teacher, a Student must complete every requirement below. Reaching level 80 by itself is not enough.
- A level 80 character.
- 600 completed Quests.
- Two primary professions plus the secondary professions — 5 professions in total.
- 100 Honorable Kills.
- 50,000 Honor Points.
- One week of accumulated in-game playtime on the server.
- Membership in a Guild.
One week of accumulated playtime is generally enough for an active player to reach level 80. The remaining requirements are the additional progression challenge and must also be completed before Graduation.
These requirements are part of the Referral System configuration and may be adjusted in the future for balance.
Graduation
Once all requirements are complete, open:
Profile → Mentorship
If the system confirms that you meet the requirements, a Graduation button will be available.
After successfully Graduating:
- your status changes from Student to Teacher;
- you receive a special Graduation Pandora's Box through in-game mail;
- this box is different from all Leveling Pandora's Box rewards;
- the Graduation Pandora's Box has a chance to contain rarer items, including rare mounts;
- you gain the ability to send your own referral invitations.
What can a Teacher do?
Each Teacher has up to 5 invitations and can have a maximum of 5 active Students at the same time.
Invitations should be sent to real e-mail addresses belonging to people you genuinely want to invite, such as friends or acquaintances.
How do I send an invitation?
- Open Profile → Invite a Friend.
- Enter your name or nickname so the recipient can recognize you.
- Enter the recipient's real e-mail address.
- You may optionally include a short personal message explaining the invitation.
- Click Send.
The system checks that you have Teacher status and an available invitation. If both conditions are satisfied, it sends an automatically generated e-mail containing a unique referral URL and consumes one of your available invitation slots.
When does the invited person become your Student?
Sending an invitation by itself does not create the Teacher–Student relationship.
The invited person must register through the referral URL contained in the invitation e-mail and complete the normal e-mail verification process. After successful registration, the two accounts become linked and the new user becomes your Student.
What happens to pending and accepted invitations?
- An unaccepted invitation remains pending for up to 3 days.
- If it is not accepted within that period, it is deleted and the invitation slot is returned to the Teacher.
- When an invitation is accepted, it becomes an active Student relationship.
- The slot remains occupied while the Student progresses through leveling and the Teacher requirements.
- When the Student Graduates, the slot is automatically released for a new invitation.
Teacher rewards as a Student progresses
When you have a linked Student, you receive a separate Teacher Pandora's Box for each 10-level milestone for which the Student claims their own Leveling reward.
Teacher milestone rewards are different from Student rewards. For the Teacher, these intermediate boxes are an additional bonus; the more significant part of the system begins when the Student reaches level 80 and eventually Graduates.
What happens when a Student Graduates?
When a Student completes every requirement and Graduates:
- the Student receives Teacher status;
- the Student receives their special Graduation Pandora's Box;
- the original Teacher receives 1 Diploma;
- the Teacher receives the applicable reward for a successfully Graduated Student;
- the Student's invitation slot is released and can be used for a new invitation.
What are Diplomas?
A Diploma marks the completion of the full referral lifecycle:
Invitation → Student → Leveling → Level 80 → Teacher requirements → Graduation → Teacher
Every successfully Graduated Student gives their original Teacher 1 Diploma.
Teacher rewards from Diplomas
Accumulated Diplomas unlock higher-tier Teacher rewards, including Rare Pandora's Box rewards.
When the 5th Student successfully Graduates, the Teacher receives:
- 1 Epic Pandora's Box;
- 5 Donate Points.
Later Diploma milestones use the reward currently configured by EVOWOW. Item and Donate Point amounts may vary by milestone and can be rebalanced over time.
What can Pandora's Box contain?
Pandora's Box — Student Leveling Type
Intended for the Student and may contain Gold, leveling items, consumables, potions, armor, weapons, tokens, and other progression-support items.
Pandora's Box — Teacher Leveling Type
A separate reward for the Teacher. It is issued for the relevant 10-level milestone when the Student claims their own Leveling reward.
Graduation Pandora's Box
Received by the Student when becoming a Teacher. This is a completely different box from the Leveling rewards and has a chance to contain rarer items and mounts.
Rare Pandora's Box
A Teacher reward associated with accumulated Diplomas and higher progression within the Referral System.
Epic Pandora's Box
High-tier Teacher rewards are determined by the current referral system configuration and may vary for later Diplomas.
The complete item list is intentionally not fixed in the documentation so that reward contents can be rebalanced over time.
Referral Dashboard
The Referral System has its own account dashboard where both sides can follow their relationship.
A Teacher can see basic information and progression details for their Students, such as:
- level;
- Guild;
- progress toward Graduation requirements;
- other basic information required by the Referral System.
A Student can see basic information about their Teacher's top character.
Sensitive account information such as passwords, e-mail passwords, or payment information is not shared between Teacher and Student.
The Teacher–Student relationship
The system encourages Teachers and Students to play together, help each other, and build a genuine social relationship, but this is not mandatory.
The main purpose is to let existing players bring people they know into EVOWOW and help them establish themselves in the community.
Anti-abuse rules
The Referral System is intended for inviting real other people, not for creating additional accounts of your own in order to collect referral rewards.
- Self-referral through your own multi-registration accounts is prohibited.
- A matching IP address between a Teacher and Student is a strong indicator of possible abuse and may be reviewed by the team.
- An IP match by itself does not automatically result in a ban or suspension of rewards.
- EVOWOW has an administrative dashboard through which suspicious matches and referral relationships can be reviewed and investigated further.
- Confirmed abuse may result in restrictions on Referral System access or other sanctions under the EVOWOW rules.
Terminology
- Student: the status assigned to every newly registered user, with or without an invitation.
- Teacher: the status obtained after Graduation, allowing the user to send invitations and accumulate Diplomas.
- Graduation: the transition from Student to Teacher after completing every requirement.
- Diploma: a progression counter awarded to the original Teacher for every Student who successfully Graduates.

Inactive relationships
Either side may permanently end an active relationship when the other account has been offline and inactive for more than 30 days. Separation grants no Diploma or reward, stops future paired Teacher rewards, and does not assign the Student to another Teacher.
